Jonathan's newest hobby is playing the wii. He has become an avid chore doer, homework getter doner, and piano practicer since the family got a wii for Christmas. I forgot to finish making arrangements for him one day while I was in Tucson. He got home from school to find that he was all alone. I remembered a half-hour later and frantically called home to check on him. He so calmly told me that he had done his piano practicing, checked the chickens and dog and was about to start his homework, then he told me that if no one was home by the time he finished his reading he was going to start the laundry... (I'm pretty sure wii was his motivation.) Every mom needs a good trick up her sleeve.
Jonathan is an excellent big brother. He makes sure to tease every sister a couple times each day as well as help each one somehow. He seems to have found the most silly boys at school to be friends with and comes home from school pretty wound up.
He loves spending time with cousins. He doesn't seem to think there is anything better than automatic friends who get to stay at his house for longer than an hour or two...
For Christmas Santa brought him a basketball hoop, you can see how grandpa helped him out with setting it outside. I'd like to say that he plays with it often.... but he really only plays with it when the wii privileges are on hold.
HOw come you're so awesome Becca??? oh yeah! Because you're my little sister. I miss you and your family SO much! Keep up the blogging, you've inspired me to update my blog. So you'll want to check it because sometime in the next six months I'll update.
